Friday Daydreamin’ 8.12.11

August 12, 2011 by Rebecca Darling

Spread the love
Hello and welcome to Friday Daydreamin’! Last week was our inaugural week to share daydreams and we had 14 blogs to visit & daydream!  It was AWESOME!!  I enjoyed seeing you pictures of Mexico, pictures at the beach, pictures of SNOW, and more.  I can’t wait to see where this week takes us!
Ready to Daydream your Friday away? It’s simple!
1. Post your favorite vacation picture and tell us a little about it.
2. Grab the “Friday Daydreamin'” button and link up your post below.
3. Visit some of the other amazing vacation photos that have linked up (and leave some comment love!)!
4. Let the Daydreamin’ begin!

Today takes me to cooler summer temperatures, as we are dying in this 110-degree days down here in Texas.  A few summers ago, we had the chance to attend Family Camp in Washington.  It was the perfect weather for it – chilly in the morning and just barely warm enough to swim in the afternoons.  We rode horses, did arts & crafts, canoed, swam, toasted marshmallows by the fire, and even slept in a boxcar. But the best part of the week?  Waking up each morning with Mt. Ranier in my backyard.

AHH! Isn’t it amazing how just a few degrees in Texas can make all the difference in the world! Love the mountains! It would be a perfect time to go north on a hike and I am sold on roasting marshmellows ๐Ÿ™‚ thanks for hosting! ๐Ÿ™‚

That sounds like a great vacation!

I’ve always thought I’d like to do a dude ranch with my family someday.

I never thought I’d say this but I kinda miss cooler temperatures. It has been horrible this summer!

Where is that at? I miss my mountain so much! But Mt. Hood is a good mountain too!

    What a great family trip!

What a gorgeous view! I’d love waking up to that every morning, and not just on vacation!

I LOVE this meme. What a great idea and I need a little (maybe a lot) of day dreamin’ right now. 110? Ugh!

It is lovely here in western WA! I’m going to try to remember to play along with this next week. I definitely need to daydream about going out somewhere.

And I’m with Ginny Marie: I want to wake up to gorgeous views every day. I told my husband once that we should live somewhere where other people go on vacation. We almost do, but our bedroom window doesn’t look out onto Mt. Rainier! : )

It’s definitely cooler out here in the Pacific NW!! I’m especially going to love this meme come January when I’m dreamin’ of beaches and vacay!

I remember going to Mt. Ranier in July when we lived there. There was still tons of snow on the ground and we were in shorts! So gorgeous.

That would be so fun sleeping in a box car! Sounds like a fun camp
