Friday Daydreamin’: Spring Break is Here!

March 9, 2012 by Rebecca Darling

Spread the love
Y’all!!  Spring Break starts today!  Well, technically at 2:45 p.m. when the kiddos get out of school, but that doesn’t temper my excitement.  I am already daydreaming about the FUN we have planned!!  Want a sneak peek??
Inspired by this post over on Quirky Momma, my little family brainstormed all we wanted to do over the break and came up with this fun itinerary.  We have a little history at the Pioneer Farms & LBJ Ranch, see Shamu at SeaWorld San Antonio, have a few hikes, go underground at a new cavern, go on a river cruise, and find some yummy places to eat.  But what am I most excited about?  Getting to explore all these fun, new places with my family!  I can’t wait to make memories with my kiddos!
What are your Spring Break Plans?  Tell us about them, add a picture, and link up with us today!

Wow! That’s quite a packed week you have ahead of you. Very cool though! We’re just staying home, I’m working, and next weekend we have a wedding of friends to attend.

I remember a gorgeous orca called Shamu at Sea World in Florida about 20 years ago. A relative, perhaps? 🙂

Even though i love reading your day dreaming fridays, this is my first link up! I love your spring break for your children, its going to be a good sleeping nights kind of vacation!! Cant wait to hear how much they loves it all!

You’re denying your kids the chance to live up to what society expects of them here. When are they going to be able to mope around and say “I’m bored!”? I don’t see any time in your schedule for that!
(Looking forward to hearing about the adventures though)

I’m LOVING your cute little itinerary! You guys have a great week planned! I LOVE Seaworld! I’m sure you guys have been there plenty but I can’t wait to take Emma. We’ll probably have to fly though. 8 hours is a bit long for a car ride.

I have zero spring break plans because my life is dull until the beginning of May. Then we have some FUN PLANNED!!!

I’m getting started on my itinerary today! 🙂

Dealt with spring break for years but my kids are big now- best spring break was four days of mountain biking in Moab. We all had a fabulous time.

    Fave fun.

If that is a “staycation” I need to plan things like that! That’s the best one I’ve ever heard about!

Your spring breaks sound fantastic. My winter break has just ended, so I am back to work. I’ve included a link to some of my favorite Spain locations, taken this past winter.
