Follow along this weekend, November 12-15, 2016 as I am off to another fun-filled adventure in Los Angeles with Disney for the Red Carpet Premiere of Moana!! Check out all that we will be doing:
Ever since I heard there was going to be a new Disney princess, I’ve been watching………watching the fun excitement that the then 14-year old, Auli’i Carvalho displayed as she was announced as the voice of this new princess, Moana. Watching (& learning) all the Island history being brought into the movie. Watching as Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was cast as Maui (did you see the dance he did on GMA?). And then to hear that Tony-award winning songwriter, Lin Manuel-Miranda was developing songs for the Moana soundtrack. Yeah, I was excited for this movie.
And then, to be invited for the press trip & to attend the red carpet premiere? I died.
I am heading to Los Angeles with 24 other bloggers for a trip that encompasses some major Disney & ABC TV fun. Yesterday we received our itinerary for the 4 days we will be out in LA and I wanted y’all to get a peek at what we will be doing. It’s going to be a CRAZY BUSY but FUN trip and I would be honored to have you following along to see this fun unfold:

Saturday night, we head to the Walt Disney Studios for our chance to screen Moana and the short with the film, Inner Workings. This is our opportunity to see it before the interviews the next day.

#MoanaEvent: Sunday, November 13, 2016
On Sunday, we have the great honor of interviewing some of the people who helped make Moana. First we start with Lin Manuel-Miranda (developed the music for the movie), Auli’i Cravalho (voice of Moana), Directors Ron Clements & John Musker, Dwayne Johnson (voice of Maui), Producer Osnat Shurer, and Opetaia Foa’i (developed music too). Whew! That’s a ton of talent!
Later that afternoon, we then have a Inner Workings presentation & interview with Director Leo Matsuda and Producer Sean Lurie.

I’m so excited to start Monday with The BFG. This was such a great book and we really enjoyed the movie version this summer. We have the opportunity to learn all about the Blu-ray DVD release at a The BFG Brunch. The morning begins with The BFG miniature brunch feast, a special photo opportunity and an interview with Lucy Dahl, daughter of author Roald Dahl. This is really such an honor for me, as I have read every single Roald Dahl book to my children.
The BFG is out on Blu-ray DVD on November 29th.

Monday afternoon, we have been invited to visit the sets of two popular ABC comedies!
First, we have been invited on the set of Speechless for a behind-the-scenes visit & possibly meet a few of the stars of the show. Have you watched this new show yet?? It’s FANTASTIC – can’t wait to tell you more. In the mean time, go watch it on ABC.com – it’s so good!

Monday night is the Red Carpet Premiere of Moana at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood. We get to attend the Premiere Party right on Hollywood Blvd before heading into the theatre for the world premiere of Moana and Inner Workings. As if the previous 3 days weren’t enough, we get to have more fun on Tuesday too! It starts with another fun Moana interview – Nicole Scherzinger (voice of Sina). Then we head over to the Disney Channel to meet with the cast of the adorable TV show, Stuck in the Middle.
